Do Weight Loss Tea or Coffee Work?

I’m seeing a big increase in sales people promoting expensive coffee and tea products that contain added ingredients, purported to provide extra health benefits.

These range from weight loss to fat burning, increased immunity and longevity, to clearer thinking and improved brain functioning.

But do they work?

I’ve compared the ingredients to some of these products (there are too many on the market to talk about individually), to the studies on the individual added ingredients in question.

These are sometimes herbs and spices, plant extracts, Chinese herbs and mushrooms and more.
